To the person above me wasn't it that Freiza tried wishing for immortatlitly but didn't recieve it because Shenron cannot do something like that. I might be wrong but I stand on it for now.

Firefox Favourite Manga Dragonball	Garlic Junior sucessfully wished for Immortality. However that wasn't canon. Freeza never got his wish because he cannot speak Namekian. However, you're correct that the wishes are riddled with contradictions. You can wish to be younger or be brought back to life but you cannot rid yourself of a disease? This obviously wasn't thought through.

A virus got into his body while he was on another planet. That's not natural at all. They couldn't wish Goku back because he already died once and the dragonballs created by Kami only allow you to be revived once (and within a year). Edited by darkwarrior, Sep 2 2010, 04:57 PM.

Posts: 9,150 Group: Member Member #5,265 Joined: September 24, 2010 Gender Not Specified Favourite Anime dragonball/z/gt/movies What Browser do you use? internet explorer or firefox	the virus acted too quickly to be countered by a wish. remember goku wakes up in the morning feels fine, travels to the island, gets a little sweaty waiting on the androids, gokus always sweaty, hes a fighter that never stops training. the symptoms didnt really start to show until after they find the androids, and that could be chalked up to stress, then he fights, his heart rates up everythings working hard, bam the virus kicks in full strength, 19 goes crazy on him and even with a sensu bean hes out cold in under five minutes. now take that to the other timeline, hes training, starts to feel a little tired, works through it, virus hits, hes out cold in a field and by the time anyone figures out whats wrong, hes too far gone for them to gather the dragonballs in time. so they try to get the balls and he dies within hours because the virus is unchecked. its not that the dragon couldnt help him, it just takes too much time to get the dragon and make the wish, the virus is that fast.
